Wentworth’s cleaning contract specifies a green cleaning program meeting the requirements of LEED for Existing Buildings Operations & Maintenance, and which takes a holistic approach to environmental, health, and safety including training, waste minimization, and use of biodegradable and phosphate-free cleaning solvents.

Wentworth is subject to the City of Boston's Energy Reporting & Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO), which requires annual reporting of energy, water use, and square footage through EnergyStar Portfolio Manager. Wentworth utilizes an Enernoc energy management software with submeters of real-time energy use for the majority of campus buildings. Wentworth also conducted a building energy benchmarking study in summer 2017, which was used to guide energy audits and subsequent efficiency projects in collaboration with utility companies.
