In future, construction and renovation contracts will include language related to C&D waste reduction and will require such project waste to be the responsibility of the contractor, not the College.
In past years, summer C&D included mattresses, excess room furniture and other miscellaneous waste items. We are still working to develop diversion mechanisms for (mattress recycling but much furniture has been donated to FingerLakes Reuse.
