IC-1: Institutional Boundary
Center for Sustainability and the Environment
Institution type: Associate (i.e., short-cycle), Baccalaureate, Doctoral/Research, or Master's:
Institutional control (Public, Private for-profit, or Private non-profit):
A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The college has only its main campus in Aurora NY.
Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
|Other professional school with labs and clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary)||No||---|
|Farm larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares||No||---|
|Agricultural experiment station larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares||No||---|
The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:
For purposes of computing building square footage, we are not including college-owned properties in the village that are rented to staff and faculty. We do include two off-campus student housing units: Fairlane Apartments and Mandel House, which is subdivided into student housing. We are not including the so-called Green House or Farm House, which used to be used for student housing but is now used for staff rental housing. We are not including the clubhouse and grounds in use for golf course, which is separately managed.
