We produced roughly 96.2% of our own electricity from natural gas last year, and purchased 3.8%, 90% of which was natural gas and 10% of which was nuclear and hydro combined.

If cogeneration, please explain.:
The college's co-generation plant produced 96.2% of this year's electricity. Co-gen utilizes almost 50% of total energy from the performance year, using natural gas, the cleanest burning fossil fuel, for electricity and steam.

Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
We recently committed to the EPA's Green Power Community plan, where we purchase 5% of our energy from the town of Wellesley's renewable energy source. All three colleges in the town of Wellesley have committed, making the town the first "Green Power Community" in Massachusetts.
