A brief description of the metering system:
Yes, the campus center, alumnae hall, sports center, and observatory are metered. We meter water, steam, chill water, electricity, and potable water. Further, residence hall clusters are metered for electricity. It is a Wellesley College construction standard that at time of major renovation, meters will be installed for all utilities entering the building.
