A brief description of how the assessment was developed:
The assessment was developed by a team within the Office of Sustainability. We wanted to create a comprehensive overview of what we believe graduated high school students may understand. Our follow up assessment will be adhered to Wellesley's promotion of sustainability and the universal understandings from a college education.

A brief description of how the assessment was administered:
The assessment is being distributed to incoming first years this year. The URL is being posted on the incoming students' portal, and will be available online during orientation as well. We did not want to waste paper distributing a survey, so we created an online survey with a free survey tool website. A follow up assessment will be administered upon the students graduation.
