A brief description of programs, policies, infrastructure investments, outreach efforts, and/or other factors that contributed to the diversion rate:
We have upgrading our recycling program by creating community awareness, student involvement, and paid student workers to conduct recycling audits. In the performance year, Wellesley College instituted a styrafoam recycling program in addition to our regular recycling efforts. We have already recycled about 1080 pounds of styrafoam since implementation. This is a rare effort.
