A brief description of the program(s):
Wellesley College offers incentives to faculty in multiple departments to develop or revise courses on any subject, through grants and funding. Some of this funding is through the committee on Educational Research and Development. Any faculty member can apply for these resources to develop new courses or incorporate new elements into courses. While that funding does not specify sustainability, it can be used for such purposes.
In addition, the colleges' Sustainability Certificate Program has funding available (including an innovation fund) for faculty to develop cross-campus programs. An example of this is the new Sustainability 201 course development, funded through college incentives.
