A brief description of the institution’s green event certification program:
Events are certified "Green" by WSU's Energy & Sustainability Office. The Green Event Guidelines can be found here - https://apps.weber.edu/wsuimages/sustainability/Green%20Department%20Program/current-green-resources/GreenEventGuidelines2023.pdf
Having events certified as "Green" provides points to offices and departments participating in WSU's Green Department Certification Program. Some examples of recent "Green" certified events include the WSU Honors Program's Honors Picnic and the Center for Community Engaged Learning's Community Partner Appreciation event.
