Weber State University's CIR was recently created and does not currently have a charter. The CIR addresses the importance of sustainability and social responsibility on a regular basis. Discussions related to ESG strategy and investment policy are being reviewed by the committee. The investment committee continues to engage experts at Commonfund in discussions on opportunity and performance of ESG funds available. In March of 2021, the University investment committee approved a new commitment to Commonfund Capital Environmental Sustainability Partners, in an amount of $2.25 million.

As discussed above, WSU's CIR was formed just this year and is currently in the process of developing a mission statement and ESG investment goals. The committee has started to meet quarterly.
