A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

WSU is currently working to transition its entire fleet over to hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or all electric vehicles. By the year 2025, WSU will no longer purchase vehicles that are solely fueled by fossil fuels. WSU is also installing electric vehicle charging stations on campus to serve the fleet as it transitions and the public. WSU currently has 21 Level 2 chargers and 1 Level 3 charger installed on its campuses.
