A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:
Weber State University's sustainability newsletter is produced by the Sustainability Practices and Research Center and is informed by the Energy & Sustainability Office, and the Environmental Issues Committee (part of WSU's Faculty Senate), Sustainability Clubs, and other departments across campus. The newsletter is produced once per month during the Fall and Spring semesters, and contains articles regarding upcoming speaker events, tips for living sustainably, and information regarding campus sustainability projects currently under construction or recently completed. The newsletter is posted on the Sustainability website with a link in addition to being emailed out to the listserv (those who signed up to receive the newsletter).

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
There are five lucid dashboards around campus that show energy consumption for the campus and a few select buildings. Two are located in the residence halls, one in the gym, one in the Facilities Management building, and one in the campus services building.
Campus maps placed around campus show sustainability information. This map is also available online.
There is a large sustainability display located next to the main information center in the Shepherd Union (the main student building). This includes large posters highlighting sustainability features and energy savings on campus.

A brief description of the sustainability walking map or tour:
Weber State has a sustainability story map. It is split up into different sections such as Mission, Transportation, Green Buildings, Renewable Energy, Water, Waste, Food Sustainability, Air Quality, and Sustainability Office. There is a different map for each of those sections (besides mission) to show where bike racks, bike lanes, solar panels, ground source, etc. are located.
Weber State University conducts frequent energy and sustainability tours of campus, for students, faculty, staff, the general public, businesses, and government officials, where the Energy Manager for campus shows how WSU is working towards meeting its carbon-neutral goal.

Weber State University's Sustainability Guide was originally produced collaboratively by students in WSU's Geography 3060 spring semester class (2011), the Environmental Issues Committee, and the Energy & Sustainability Office at WSU. The guide, which was comprehensively updated in spring 2014, and regularly is updated by the Energy & Sustainability Office, contains information on conserving and protecting water resources, shopping green, saving energy, reducing air pollution, and reducing waste.
Weber State student Cayden Quayle created “A Guide to a Sustainable Garden and Kitchen” for the Weber State Sustainability Office. This guide includes information about food sustainability, an overview of problems, solutions, and actions, as well as a comprehensive guide to a sustainable garden and kitchen. Also included is a list of vegetarian and vegan recipes. URL for guide is included below.

Dr. Alice Mulder runs a classroom series called Sustainability Snapshots that is available to all students. This series, held weekly, aims to showcase how many of our award-winning faculty from across campus are engaging with sustainability in their teaching, research, and/or through applied projects. Topics cover a variety of areas including climate change, air and water pollution, business and environmental regulation, political thought, creative writing, accounting, outdoor recreation and access, perceptions of water use and conservation, and more.
