The Intermountain Sustainability Summit: The Intermountain Sustainability Summit is an annual benchmark event where sustainability professionals from business, non-profits, government, and education come together, along with the next generation of leaders, to learn, share, network and build momentum as we work to improve our communities, environment and economy. Faculty and staff from Weber State have presented. In the last year, Dan Bedford presented a Climate Communications workshop. Justin Owen and Jacob Cain presented a professional workshop on financing energy efficiency programs for professionals.

For 2017, Envision Utah awarded WSU the "Your Utah, Your Future" award for its 2016 "Drive Electric - Northern Utah" program, conducted in partnership with Utah State University and Utah Clean Energy.

Weber State University staff worked in collaboration with University of Utah, Salt Lake Community College, and Utah State University to host the Higher Education Forum at the 2017 lntermountain Sustainability Summit.
