Weber State University completed its Stormwater Management Plan in 2004. This Plan provides measurable goals and Best Management Practices (BMPs) for illicit discharge detection and elimination, construction site runoff control, and post construction stormwater management. WSU is located on a hillside and all stormwater from the campus (and surrounding neighborhoods) is directed into the main campus pond/water feature. During the summer time, this stormwater is used to partially irrigate campus lawns. Another major stormwater detention basin is located at the Dee Events Center. This water is not currently reused for irrigation purposes.
