Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Go Green for the Red Reusable Period Products
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Go Green for the Red program (GGFR) provides free, reusable period products to all WashU students who register for the program. The program is a pilot with the mission of becoming a larger university offering. GGFR also has the following goals: providing access to reusable period products where there may have been barriers previously, and to help shift attitudes about reusable period products.
The program was launched after a virtual panel event that discussed period poverty and how reusable products were a possible solution.
