Does the institution host a food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource focused on alleviating food insecurity, hunger and poverty among students?:
Yes
A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The Food Security Fund was established by Washington University’s Dining Services in partnership with Student Financial Services to ensure all undergraduate students have access to adequate, quality, nutritious foods on campus. Each application is reviewed on an individual basis based on financial need. Other students can donate their leftover meal points to the fund in a program called “Bears Helping Bears.”
