A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The WUSTL Social Justice Center partnered with Student Involvement & Leadership to bring Jessica Pettit to campus for three-hour long session for any student. The session was attended by approximately 40 undergraduate/graduate students. Dinner was provided and the diversity trainer led the group in activities and reflection in order to better understand their identities and systemic issues of oppression. It was 3 hours long and will be an annual recurring event.
