A brief description of the themed housing:
It's Not Easy Being Green: A Sustainable Living BLOC is WUSTL's first themed housing. The BLOC's mission is: "to better educate ourselves and the Wash U community about what it means to be environmentally sustainable. We are committed to using resources responsibly with the understanding that we only have one Earth, and we would like to leave it in good shape for future generations"
Programs and events include:
-We plan to setup a green point system where each member will document their progress towards sustainable living
-We think that a 12 hour lights out once a semester will be a great way to spread awareness about our initiative to reduce resource consumption
