A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
W&L has eliminated all sales of water in single-use plastic bottles from campus dining and retail venues as well as from all campus catering operations. The change was accompanied by information campaigns, installation of additional bottle-filling stations across campus, and the distribution of vouchers for high-quality reusable water bottles to all first-year students during the implentation year.
