The Office of Sustainability Instagram account promotes sustainability events, highlights, and tips for students, faculty and staff. The account is wlusustainability. The Instagram account is also connected to Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Permanent signage in our primary campus dining venue highlights the campus garden and compost system in highlighting local food and waste reduction in dining initiatives. Additionally, in all campus dining venues and at catered events, dishes including campus garden produce are flagged with a special notation.

The Office of Sustainability partners with University Facilities and Residential Life to educate students on how to use their thermostat for maximum energy efficiency (and minimum maintenance issues!). A sample of the guide distributed to students is attached.

Additionally, the Office of sustainability maintains a a live energy dashboard and conducts outreach specifically to students living in our upper division housing village on how to use the information on the dashboard to monitor and reduce their electricity usage. wlu.edu/PowerTrip
