A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
1. A survey was sent to all department and program heads requesting information about sustainability courses offered by the department/program and sustainability related research conducted by faculty within the department.
2. A second survey requesting the same information as above was advertised directly to faculty members at University Faculty Meetings, through the daily email notices system "Campus Notices" and through direct outreach by members of the Faculty Engagement subcommittee of the University Sustainability Committee.
3. Using survey responses and a comprehensive review of 23-24 course offerings, a draft inventory was created.
4. This draft inventory was placed on a shared university drive, accessible to all via shared link, and advertised to faculty with the request that faculty members review and verify that their courses are accurately included in (or excluded from) the inventory.
