Does the institution host a peer-to-peer textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project?:
A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:
W&L partners with First-Generation Low-Income Partnership - or FLIP - for their lending library and students are able to donate their unwanted textbooks to the program, while other students can save money by borrowing these donated textbooks. The lending library has a designated space on the third floor of Elrod Commons. The lending library had more than 150 books at the end of the 2017/2018 school year and has expanded over time. FLIP is dedicated to creating a supportive community specifically for First Gen and/or Low-Income (FGLI) students, but all students are welcome to borrow the textbooks.
The University Library also has multi-user access to e-textbooks.
