Sustainability is addressed in new employee orientation, as Dr. Bill Hamilton of the University Sustainability Committee addresses all new hires. Dr. Hamilton’s address includes topics such as the President’s Climate Commitment, energy saving policy at the university, the Buy Local campaign, the University Sustainability Committee, and other topics pertaining to the environment at the university.
