A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
W&L participates in a “Great Colleges to Work For” survey issued by the Chronicle of Higher Education every year for the past three years. This is an institution-wide survey, and the results are reviewed by the University Committee on Inclusiveness and Campus Climate. Recommendations are made to the president by the Committee based on their evaluation about how to adjust human resources policy. The survey was last administered in 2010, and W&L won awards in compensation programs and employee satisfaction (http://www.wlu.edu/x49299.xml).
