Does the institution have strategies in place to safely dispose of all hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste and seek to minimize the presence of these materials on campus?:
Yes

A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:

Steps have been taken to reduce on site inventory of materials and to adjust quantities purchased to limit the total amount of materials on campus. Professors have moved to smaller scale student lab set ups and reduced the amount of student exposure to chemicals.

A brief description of how the institution safely disposes of hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:

We have a very standard hazardous materials program in which we collect and account for all hazardous waste from the science building and art building. The hazardous waste that come from the science include chemicals from the chemistry, biology, and physics department. Employees collect this waste and a hired off-campus company is responsible for proper disposal of this waste. The art department generates a lot of hazardous waste in the form of turpentine, certain types of paints, and liquids used in photography. These are also collected and processed by an outside hazardous waste company. The school makes sure to follow standard procedures when handling and disposing all hazardous waste material.
