A brief description of how the institution ensures that its lowest-paid workers (including contractors, if applicable) receive sustainable compensation:
All administrative and faculty members make above $24,000/year and all hourly support staff make at least $10/hour. Wartburg evaluates the pay of its workers and determines if any changes need to be made on an annual basis. Evaluations are made by comparing the pay of our employees to our peer institutions and by reviewing the American Association of University Professors and College and University Professional Association. Wartburg tries to allocate money to specific positions if they are low compared to survey data.
