We have discontinued use of plastic coffee stirrers campus-wide. This applies to our Campus Store and to our two cafe's: Sage Cafe and the Owl's Nest. Alternate stirrers - from reusable spoons to pasta - are being utilized.

Data was gathered from Sodexo's Sustainability Marketing Manager and the Campus Store Supervisor. The elimination of plastic stirrers campus-wide has been in effect for at least two years. This submission was modified based on input from the STARS reviewer.
