A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
The Registrar prepared the list of all courses taught in 2018-2019. Duplicates, internships, practicums, physical education courses and independent study courses were eliminated. All faculty received the AASHE STARS faculty survey form. Division Chairs and Academic Affairs administrators participated in reviewing the data. Faculty understood AASHE's definition of sustainability and for courses on this list, content was verified for either sustainability-focused or sustainability-inclusive content. Division Chairs reviewed the inventory, and for back- up verification, the previous STARS liaison's (a faculty member) submitted course list for 2015 was cross-referenced. In addition, in response to the STARS review, the STARS liaison cross-referenced with each course syllabus for all listed courses.See internal notes for further detail
How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
