5

A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
If an employee drives a vehicle to work, they are required to register a vehicle with the Office of Transportation and Parking. This office issues parking hangtags and tracks the number issued. If employees carpool, they are required to register with the Office of Transportation and Parking. This office issues parking hangtags and tracks the number issued. Employees who walk, ride a bike or use bus transit to work can contact the Parking and Transportation office to register their bike and also receive day passes to drive to work during inclement weather or if they have an occasional appointment. If bikes are registered or day passes issued, this information is tracked by Transportation and Parking.
