A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
The Office of Sustainability participates in the new faculty orientation scavenger hunt each fall by administering the "Choose to Reuse" quiz and distributing reusable water bottles. In addition, monthly new staff orientation sessions feature a panel with campus partners, and the Office of Sustainability has a staff member serve on this panel nearly every month to provide an overview of what we do and how they can get involved.
In addition, Human Resources includes information about campus sustainability on their career portal, signaling the importance of this guiding value to all potential new employees of the university.
