The Center for Energy, Environment, and Sustainability, in partnership with the Office of Sustainability, hosts an annual sustainability-across-the-curriculum workshop called the Magnolias Project. An average of 12 faculty have participated in each of the first seven years of the workshop, resulting in over 80 faculty designing courses with sustainability-related or focused courses across the college and professional schools.
A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
Faculty participants receive a stipend for participating in the two-day workshop and for sharing a revised syllabus demonstrating the integration of sustainability themes into one or more courses.
