Since 2009, the institution has been in the process of transitioning to the OS1 (Operating System 1) cleaning protocol, which directs the use of Green Seal cleaning products.
Additionally, food service provider ARAMARK has transitioned to many low-chemical cleaning processes (http://sustainability.wfu.edu/2010/11/12/aramark-implements-new-green-cleaning-program-in-on-campus-dining-locations/).
