A brief description of the metering system:
The university has a centralized power metering system that tracks the power and water consumption for virtually all buildings on campus. The campus has centralized steam and chilled water distribution systems, but all are not sub-metered. Therefore, our fully metered buildings are mostly those limited to electricty or buildings off campus with individual utility meters.
