Wake Forest hosts a variety of speakers and symposia related to sustainability. The 2011-12 year's events included lectures by Christine Todd Whitman, Abrahim Abdul-Matin, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Walter Robb, and Pietra Rivoli. Symposia topics included Sleep, Safety, and Sustainability, Food Activism, and Hydraulic Fracturing.
