EHS uses OnSite Systems, Inc. to track audits and inspections performed by our office. Audit and inspection criteria is customized to meet established safety and health programs for the university. Our custom-designed Safety Management System allows clients to establish required safety and health training for employees and students, and track compliance or status of training provided online or in person by EHS trainers. It permits users to upload safety-related documents, such as Hazard Assessment Forms, Energy Control Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, for retention. Chemical inventory for a laboratory, shop or storage area can be tracked in the system for our Occupational Health Assurance Program. Environmental, Health and Safety programs for the university are available online.

US Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Recording and Reporting Occupational Injuries and Illness. The number of employees referenced above does include full and part-time faculty, staff, regular wage, emergency hire, and student employees (including graduate assistants) which is why the number is higher than PRE-5.
