Yes

Does the assessment process address employee outcomes related to diversity and equity (e.g. pay and retention rates for underrepresented groups)?:

A brief description of the most recent assessment findings and how the results are used in shaping policy, programs and initiatives:
Climate survey findings consistently show lower satisfaction among underrepresented minorities and women, whether employee, graduate or undergraduate student. Underrepresented students also have lower retention rates than white students, and there are very few underrepresented faculty across the disciplines, but particularly in certain colleges. A comprehensive report was presented to the InclusiveVT Executive Council in May, 2017, and to Virginia Tech’s Board of Visitors in September. This has resulted in the establishment of Working Groups on Student Success and Gender. The above data has also been used to inform new hiring initiatives for faculty, and recruitment initiatives for students. The Office for Inclusion and Diversity works with the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness to collect comprehensive quantitative data about faculty, staff, and student diversity, and requests that all colleges, departments, and senior management areas utilize current data in their required diversity strategic plans.

Are the results of the most recent structured diversity and equity assessment shared with the campus community?:
