A brief description of the water metering employed:
Domestic water to campus is sourced from the New River Valley Water Authority. Most of the buildings and irrigation applications have local meters installed that are read quarterly (either manually or using a hand-held device) by the Virginia Tech Electric Services (VTES) and then invoiced accordingly.
