A brief description of the metering system:
Recently constructed buildings have been equipped with instrumentation to meter steam, electricity, chilled water and domestic water usage; metering is tied in to the Siemens BAS with data available for tracking.
An ongoing ESCO project has installed a full complement of energy metering on five campus buildings selected for a phase 1 ESCO multi-Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) project. Meters are not connected yet to the Siemens BAS; however data is being collected via a datalogger.
