VCU Physical Plant Administration Building, 8,821.0 sqft is certified LEED EBOM Silver.
All VCU buildings are maintained under a Integrated Pest Management Plan and a Green Cleaning Policy.
The Integrated Pest Management Plan is utilized in all VCU buildings with the objective of minimizing the impact of site management practices on the local ecosystem, and to reduce exposure of occupants, staff and maintenance personnel to potentially hazardous chemical, biological and particle contaminants.
The Green Cleaning Policy has been written with the intent of reducing the exposure of building occupants and maintenance personnel to potentially hazardous chemical, biological, and particulate contaminants, which adversely affect air quality, human health, building finishes, building systems, and the environment for all VCU buildings.
