VCU provides free access to LinkedIn Learning for all faculty and staff. This membership provides a variety of courses for professional development, including sustainability topics.

There is a tuition reimbursement program for university staff that allows for employees to take courses at other universities, at the cost of VCU. Many staff members take advantage of this opportunity, taking courses in a number of fields, including sustainability. VCU also pays for professional development opportunities and accreditation for staff, including LEED certification.
