Established in 1838, Virginia Commonwealth University is a public research university located in Richmond, Virginia. With 13 schools and one college, VCU's campus size is 150 acres in downtown Richmond, with additional branch campuses and satellite locations.
Its total undergraduate enrollment for Fall of 2016 was 31,231, and baccalaureate degrees awarded in 2015-2016 amounted to 5,219.
