LEED Lunches, which cover a variety of topics, are held monthly throughout the semester and are open to all staff and faculty. These lunches include consultant presentations about projects they have designed, product representatives presenting the "green" aspects of their products, and internal sharing among employees on what we have learned and are working on.


A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution(e.g. through payment, reimbursement, or subsidy):

There is a tuition reimbursement program for university staff that allows for employees to take courses at other universities, at the cost of VCU. Many staff members take advantage of this opportunity, taking courses in a number of fields, including sustainability.
