VCU Fashion Department Textile Recycling
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Throughout the year the VCU Fashion Department creates many hundreds of pounds of textile waste from student projects. The VCU Fashion Department has partnered with the VCU Office of Sustainability to recycle these textiles that would otherwise be sent to the landfill.

The measurable outcomes are the amount of waste that is being redirected from the landfill to recycling.
