The Community Climate Survey is administered anonymously every 5 to 6 years to all employees (100% surveyed). The most recent survey was administered in Fall 2017.

Our community climate survey has a section on employee Satisfaction specifically asks about ones satisfaction with their job, supervisor, salary, benefits, work load, skills, and responsibility, among others. In other sections of the Community Climate Survey there are questions about satisfaction with communications and decision-making.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

In the aggregate, the most recent community climate survey results have been incorporated into the new strategic plan, along with a number of other community outreach data points. The results have been published through the President’s website. Most recently, these data have been used the University’s Middle States accreditation process as the various committees prepare the University’s self‐study.
Each senior leader is also provided a report for their respective organizations and they in turn meet with their directors to review and identify areas of strength and areas of concern that need improvement, which includes focus on employee satisfaction as reported through the community climate survey.
