A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Villanova University is located in a very developed suburb of Philadelphia. The campus is surrounded by commercial and residential area. In addition to our main campus that includes the 6 colleges (Engineering, Arts and Science, Nursing, Business, Law and Professional studies) and housing for 65% of undergraduates, Villanova also owns and operates and Inn and Conference center located a mile away from the main campus.
In this report we will not include the University owned independent homes used for occasional rentals to visiting visitors. This is because the occupants tend to be independent family's' and therefore do not answer to Villanova University. The impact of these homes is very small.
