A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
The Research Office sent a master list of all faculty that receive outside grants for research. Emails were sent out to some department chairs to identify those who had done sustainability research. The list from the Research Office does not reflect the TOTAL faculty doing research in the University.
