A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
New employees are given a brief handout on Sustainability at Vassar. It explains the College Committee on Sustainability and how to get involved with the committee. Additionally, the majority of the college's department (i.e. Purchasing, Buildings and Grounds, etc.) have representatives on the Committee on Sustainability who act as liaisons to the departments and its employees.
