In 2017 the College has actively worked with the County government in the management and reorganization of the local public transit system, which occurred over the course of the summer.

In 2017 the College also joined the leadership circle for the Our Climate Coalition for Carbon Pricing, advocating for carbon pricing as a legislative priority for addressing climate change.
