A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:
The Infant Toddler Center and the Wimpfheimer Nursery School offer high quality educational care facilities to children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years. The ITC and Wimpfheimer are open to the community but have subsidized costs for Vassar families in which one or more parents are employed by the college. The extent of subsidized tuition is based on the employee’s pay scale. There are a limited number of spots in the ITC program so childcare is not guaranteed for all employees.
