A brief description of the enterprise:
“Tree City is a custom-designed cart that presents coffee and food with an attention to craft and place” (from the business plan for Tree City LLC). Tree City was started by two students. It is a coffee cart that serves ethically grown and traded coffee along with food made entirely from local, organic products. The company employs several students and is set up in places such as the local Farmer’s Market, and on campus at various academic buildings or in the student center. It also caters events with coffee and food. Events can also feature educational and community building activities.
